The successful story of More cigarette starts years back in 1975 when this brand was introduced to the tobacco market after a careful test experiment in Oklahoma City by RJ Reynolds, the second largest tobacco producer company in the United States. Initially this brand was manufactured only for women and its first advertisement was aired with an elegant, attractive and inspiring lady holding a More cigarette which was inscribed with a slogan "Dare to be More". Unlike contemporary cigarettes that were all in white color, More cigarettes came in brown papers and had a size of 120mm. Despite slightly low market value, the R.J Reynolds Tobacco Company has been continuously producing this brand to cater to the demand of devoted smokers.

Presently, More cigarettes are being sold all across the globe under special license obtained by a number of tobacco companies based in various countries such as Switzerland, Germany, Greece, England, Malaysia, Thailand, Romania, Australia. It comes in three different sizes namely King, Long and Super Long with their size being 85mm, 100mm and 120mm respectively.

More cigarettes are sold in full and menthol flavors. Since it has not been promoted through advertisements, it is considered as the niche brand of RJ Reynolds. In 1990s the More cigarette brand was expanded to include light styles in the form of both brown and white wraps in 120mm size whereas a beige in only 100mm. However, within few years, these styles were removed from the market.
